How do you do feedings?
Pet Jeeves recommends that you bring your own food in pre-measured and pre-marked Ziplock baggies to maintain your pet's normal diet. This also helps prevent over or under-feeding. However, if you forget to bring food, we do provide our premium house food for an extra fee based on the size of the dog.
For meal times I do prefer to feed in crates when I have multiple dogs. This is for safety reasons and I try not to keep them in the crate beyond the feeding.
What happens if certain dogs do not play well together?
My experience allows me to assess dogs' behavior between another. If dogs cannot play well together, I will cater to the situation to ensure the safety of the pets.
Does my dog need to be up-to-date on vaccines?
We do require up-to-date rabies vaccines as well as Bordetella vaccine.
What will my dog do all day?
Your dog will be in our home with us. We have a Doggie suite with no stairs, so it’s perfect for seniors or the vision impaired. We have beds and couches to cuddle on. We play or lounge outdoors as much as possible (weather permitting). In short, they will be one of our family. Your dog will play with indoor toys, go out into the fully-fenced backyard to run and play, or lounge on the outdoor patio.
Your dog will be very active during their stay with us and it is not uncommon for pets to sleep more than normal after their fun play-cation at Pet Jeeves. We send pictures and videos throughout the day. We want you to feel a part of their day and their fun!
Should I bring my dog's toys or bedding?
To ensure a flea and tick-free environment, we ask that you do not bring any bedding, fabrics, or toys. We provide all dogs with a Deluxe Dog Bed and a fresh blanket at no additional charge.
What happens if my dog has anxiety or is a senior dog?
For dogs who have anxiety, we will never leave them by themselves for extended periods. This also goes for our senior dogs, and there are no stairs to worry about. I also have an office where I can stay if your dogs that cannot be alone through the night.
